The International Symposium on Equine Reproduction was formed in 2025 subsequent to discussions on advancement of equine reproduction education amongst members of the International Committee of the International Symposium on Equine Reproduction. The primary reason for forming the Society was to promote high-quality and far-reaching training and outreach. To achieve that goal, the Society will provide oversight and support to the once-every-four-years ISER Symposium, the International Symposium on Stallion Reproduction (ISSR), the International Symposium on Equine Embryo Transfer (ISEET), and will host one or more regional continuing education meetings in various geographic areas every year.
The new ISER Society subsequently teamed with a professional management company to develop the Society website and the infrastructure for member benefits, as well as the logistical foundation for an organization dedicated to advancing the education of equine reproduction professionals throughout the world.
The society’s first educational foray was producing more than 200 educational equine reproduction webinars, which are now a key feature of ISER’s member-benefit package. The webinars are produced by leaders in the field and offer an amazing array of educational ventures for practicing veterinarians, reproductive scientists, and students interested in advancing their equine reproduction knowledge and skills.
ISER is your trusted partner in equine reproduction excellence, from the breeding farms of Kentucky to the research laboratories in Australia and everywhere in between. Throughout all endeavors, ISER aims to facilitate quality education on a global basis, host a group of like-minded individuals for information exchanges, and foster international collaboration and mentorship.
